ANCIENT AND ACCEPTED SCOTTISH RITE

Excerpts from the Statutes and Regulations of the
Supreme Council 33° of the Ancient and Accepted
Scottish Rite of Freemasonry of Canada.

ART. 44. --The Supreme Council recognizes the exclusive authority of the Symbolic Grand Lodge over the three Symbolic Degrees of Freemasonry and Masonic Furneral Rites and Ceremonies, and exercises authority over only the degrees from the fourth to the thirty-third degree, both inclusive.

ART. 45. --The degrees from the fourth to the thirty-second, both inclusive, are to be conferred or communicated in the following bodies, namely:

8°    Intendant of the Building
9°    Elect of the Nine
10°  Elect of the Fifteen
11°  Elect of the Twelve

14°  Grand Elect Perfect and Sublime Mason

ART. 46. --This Supreme Council reserves to itself the right to confer or communicate any of the degrees of the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite.
